Myself and my husband had our wedding reception at The Dunraven Arms in July 2024 and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience throughout. From the first day of meeting Louis and his staff, we were made to feel so welcome and were so assured by their kindness and professionalism. In preparing for the day, we were given ample time by Louis to meet, discuss and plan everything according to our wishes. The day itself will be etched in our memories for the rest of our lives. Everything was top class from start to finish. The food, the staff, the ambience. We could not have wished for better. Our enthusiasm was shared by our many guests who were effusive in their praise of the hotel, the entire staff, and the delicious meal enjoyed by all. A special word of thanks to Hugh, Denis, Louis and the wider catering staff. In summary, we loved our time at The Dunraven Arms. The staff were all exceptional and the standard of catering and accommodation was superb. A very sincere thank you to you all. Hats off on a job superbly done.

Our wedding day at the Dunraven Arms was simply everything we had hoped for and more.We had a humanist ceremony in the conference  centre, followed by  a stunning drinks reception in the garden, dinner followed in the hotel with dancing in to the wee hours.

 The hotel and staff were just  out on their own, from the attentiveness of waiters/waitresses to the absolutely delicious meal from start to finish. Absolutely everybody commented on the hotel and how impressed they were with everything, staff, food, bedrooms etc.  We really felt like we had the hotel to ourselves on the day.

John was fantastic in looking after us from the moment we arrived until we sat down for our meal and Julie was also exceptional in looking after us throughout the meal and in the run up to the wedding. Louis and Hugh were also  fantastic wedding co ordinators and no request was too much.

We got married in august this year. Hugh dealt with our wedding. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They worked around our schedule and made themselves available when we needed anything during the organising stage of our wedding. On the day, all our guests raved about the food and service. We couldnt complement Julie and her team enough!

We found the entire team in Dunraven a pleasure to deal with, in particular Louis, Hugh and Fiona whose insights and knowledge really helped us in the lead up to the big day. The food and service in the function room was outstanding and the general atmosphere was relaxed and fun which is what we had wanted. We also found the costs to be reasonable given the quality of food and service.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We had visited several venues in Munster before finding the Dunraven and as soon as we visited and met with Louis and the team, we knew it was the right venue for us. Everything was so professionally run, we really felt as if it was our hotel for the day. The hotel's atmosphere is full of character and charm but also luxurious at the same time. It was like a home away from home for the weekend of our wedding (if our home was as luxurious!). We had a couple of needs for the day which were really important to us - we wanted a day that was relaxed and hassle free for our guests, excellent service and really great food - and we got all three! We got married in the church next door and strolled down with our friends and family to the ceremony, which added to the atmosphere. Everyone commented on how excellent the service was (people were really impressed that they were offered seconds!) and how relaxed they felt all day. I would so highly recommend the Dunraven Arms Hotel if you are looking for a wedding venue that mixes charm, character and luxury - and has super service and food.
