Attractions in Adare

There are a host of things to do during your stay in Adare or within a short drive away. In the village, the famed Adare Village Park, the River walk, the all-ability playground and a pitch and putt course will ensure entertainment for all.  The Adare Heritage Centre is one minutes walk from the hotel and as well as featuring a historic exhibition of the village they will also arrange guided tours of the Desmond Castle.

Two 18 hole golf courses, the Adare Manor Golf Club and the all new The Golf Course at Adare Manor are both a short distance from the hotel.

Clonshire Equestrian Centre is a 5 minute drive from the hotel and boasts one of the most expansive and experienced equestrian centres in Ireland.

The Dunraven Armms is located in the centre of Adare village. There are plenty of things to do here. Adare is a bustling little town with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and a variety of boutiques. We have a wonderful Heritage Centre which as well as having shops has an abundance of information regarding the history of the village. They also arrange tours to Desmond Castle in the village. Each evening there is Irish music in one of our local pubs and for a small town there is always something for everyone.
The Dunraven Arms is situated 15 minutes from the city of Limerick which is home to Munster Rugby. Munster play most of their home games here in both the European Champions Cup and the Pro 14. Adare itself is the location of Adare Manor Hotel Golf Course which will host the Ryder Cup in 2026. Limerick Racecourse is a 5 minute drive from the hotel and hosts big race meetings in October and December as well as hosting numerous Flant and National Hunt meetings throughout the year.
